As a PHP developer, I deal with a lot of different aspects of website design not just the writing of PHP scripts and API's. A lot of time is spent building the front end applications/websites to interface with them.
I am a big believer in semantic and standards complient code, so all websites I work on are designed with the latest W3C standards in mind and focus on progressive enhancement with responsive design to ensure the greatest level of accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
I understand the need for legacy browser support so while I focus on "Modern Browsers" I also work without browser hacks or vendor prefixes to ensure users with legacy browsers arent left behind and unable to use the website or application.
I've been involved in a lot of projects over the years, some as a freelance developer, some as an employee. My past/current employers work belongs to them, so I wont mention their projects specifically here but they involve a range of web applications and APIs for things like billing, service management and support applicaitons.
I used to list some snippets of sample code for people to view on this page, but without context or the full source files they werent very useful, so instead I thought I would start uploading some of the demo's I have made while testing new technology.
These will mostly be HTML and JavaScript demos, as thats where the most advances are being made at the moment, but Im a PHP developer at heart so there will be some PHP code thrown about too.
You can find these experiments over in a new section to the site Im calling my Lab. As these will be more rough/ready examples than finished projects.
If you are interested in working with me on a project, please dont hesitate to get in touch.
